Outdoor Project Updates Pt. 1

Happy Summer!

Yes, it’s still very much summer even with just 3 week left until fall. I can’t believe it’s been this long since my last post. All the things have been happening inside the house and outside in the yard. So, let’s get into these updates, shall we?!

First things first. I just want to say that landscaping is truly some back BREAKING work!! A ton of bending, lifting, moving, carrying, etc. It’s a lot. Kudos to those who do this work for a living! You are appreciated!

This Spring and Summer season has been HOT. Like, abnormally hot. Thankfully I was able to knock out most of my outdoor yard project within just about two weeks!

I have to admit that in spite of the work wearing out my body, I was able to see that landscaping isn’t as difficult as it seems. With research, time, effort and a plan, curb appeal is fairly easy to achieve. Going forward I should only have to prep the beds since I have them looking exactly how I desire.

Take a look at some progress pictures in the gallery below!

A reciprocating saw worked really well with me needing to cut down the wood into smaller pieces for removal.
